CASA Part 66 Licence Courses

Aerospace Training Services is a Recognized Training Organisation (RTO) and a CASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) who provides high quality training, both classroom and distance education, to help you gain your CASA qualification. If you have obtained training or experience throughout your working career, you have the opportunity to apply for an Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to gain credit towards your qualification.

MEA20518 Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance (Mechanical) - (Category A):

  • A1 - Fixed-wing aeroplane with gas turbine engines
  • A2 - Fixed-wing aeroplane with piston engines
  • A3 - Rotary-wing helicopter with gas turbine engines
  • A4 - Rotary-wing helicopter with piston engines

MEA50219 Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical) - (Category B1):

  • B1.1 - Fixed-wing aeroplane with gas turbine engines
  • B1.2 - Fixed-wing aeroplane with piston engines
  • B1.3 - Rotary-wing helicopter with gas turbine engines
  • B1.4 - Rotary-wing helicopter with piston engines

MEA50118 Diploma of Aeroskills (Avionics) - (Category B2):

  • B2 - Fixed-wing aeroplanes and Rotary-wing helicopters

  • E1, E4 & E5 Exclusion Removal - B1 (Theory and Practical)
  • E8 Exclusion Removal - B2 (Theory & Practical)

Due to individual circumstances, Aerospace Training Services does not guarantee that successful completion of the above courses will result in a CASA Part 66 licence being issued.

Prospective students who have a medically significant condition that could be safety-relevant should contact CASA prior to enrolling. When applying for a licence any medical condition that is safety relevant must be disclosed and specified by the applicant as part of the licence application to CASA.
